A close encounter

In the late Cretaceous, there once lived a huge Tyrannosaurus Rex. When he was still a baby T-rex, he played with his brother and sister, until he was cast out for being too small. He ventured into the Lush Woods, where he found companionship with a couple of baby triceratops, until their parents smelled him out and chased him off. So that is when T-rex decided he could make it on his own.
He grew big and strong and lived up to his name: he became the greatest terror of the Lush Woods.

One day, T-rex was hungry. He was looking for an easy meal, since he had been running around all day, chasing silly raptors who were much faster than he was. Finally, at the end of the day, he bumped into a carcass, that of an unfortunate edmontosaurus, that was lying near a bushy fern strip at the edge of the Lush Woods. He was so hungry he tucked in immediately, oblivious of the fact that he was being watched.
Only when an ominous *thump thump* started to resonate in the earth, and then in T-rex's limbs, he realised something was off. The sky darkened. A large shadow was cast over the dead edmontosaurus, and a group of dromaeosaurus fled the ferns, screeching like there was no tomorrow.

And then... the T-rex froze.
For there it loomed... the threatening face of... Sayath-Zilla!

Luckily for T-rex, Sayat-Zilla had had her dinner only minutes ago...
